Our client is looking for a driven and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Team Leader to join their forward-thinking company, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions for a better future.As the AP Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.What you’ll be doing:Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable teamOversee daily operations: invoice processing, payment runs, supplier queries, reconciliationsEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulationsMonitor AP metrics, resolve issues, and implement process improvementsSupport month-end close and provide reports to the Finance ManagerLiaise with procurement, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepanciesAssist with audits and year-end reporting as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership positionStrong knowledge of AP processes, systems, and controlsExcellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesA team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAccounting qualification (AAT, ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent) desirableWhat’s On Offer For You:An annual salary of £37,000 – £40,000, with a yearly reviewHybrid working scheme25 days of annual leave, plus all bank holidays.Benefit from a range of discounts on retail, health, gym memberships and so much more that can be made available upon request!Ready to lead a team to new heights?
