You will also and provide comprehensive administrative support for Cancer Site-Specific Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) meetings, collating lists of patients to be discussed and collecting information required for the meetings. You will need to work to tight deadlines so that MDT members are notified in advance and can prepare for their role in the meeting.This is a developmental role and you will be expected, after a period of training, to cover MDT meetings which involves recording a summary of discussions at the meeting, projected live to MDT members.Our department currently works in an agile way, and you would be expected to be on site full-time during a period of training and then be on site at least 2 days per week.About usIf you are being interviewed you must accept an interview slot in the system to continue, even if you have arranged with the managerYou must be able to produce ALL certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre-employment checksWe provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham.   • NVQ 3 / 4 in business administration or equivalent experience/qualification

  • Experience in an administrative / secretarial role.

  • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
