DescriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced TA who has previous experience working with SEN/Medical needs to work in a Primary School in Woolton, L25.You must have previous experience in Early Years, a passion for supporting children with SEN.Ideally you will have previous experience with children with SEN and medical needs. The Medical side - full training will be provided with Alder Hey!Location: Belle Vale, L25.
Pay: £13.80 - £15.00 per hour, plus holiday pay.Start: 8th September 2025 - transition sessions starting 2nd September.This role will be supporting 2 children in a Nursery class. Supporting one child Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday morning then supporting another child Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday!Each child will only do a couple of hours initially - building up to 2.5 days. You will still work full time. When the children aren't in you will help out in EYFS and generally in class.Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1-1 SEN Support, supporting a child with a medical condition and SEN.
  • Work with young children who have difficulty with communication and social interaction
  • Ensuring children are engaged
  • Adapting to every individual pupil's needs
  • Helping with behaviour management of children
  • Be a key component in a child's early development
Profile:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable - not essential.
  • Friendly, empathetic and motivating
  • Strong regard for pupil safety-and well being
  • Motivating with ability to engage pupils
  • Good ability to manage behaviour
