The Senior Corporate Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex tax matters effectively.Tax Compliance Leadership: Direct comprehensive UK tax compliance operations, managing filings, payment obligations, and ensuring data accuracy for returns and statutory accounts.Reporting & Technology Integration: Support tax reporting cycles while spearheading adoption of cutting-edge tax technology, including AI tools and process automation to optimize operations.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small but high-performing team of professionals, providing strategic coaching and direction to drive excellence in tax operations.Governance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure robust tax governance compliance while enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening external provider relationships.Strategic Advisory: Deliver timely insights and analysis to head-office stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.Business Partnership: Collaborate with tax business partners to elevate tax performance awareness, identify risks and opportunities, and implement strategic tax solutions.Corporate Tax Oversight: Review and manage UK corporate tax compliance, including provisions, approvals, and Interest Withholding Tax processes.Fantastic opportunity for long term progressionFlexible working approachA successful Senior Corporate Tax Manager should have:
  • A professional qualification in tax, accounting, or a related field (e.g., CTA, ACA, or ACCA).
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax, preferably within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax matters and provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and external advisors.
