Employer: GSL Education LtdDo you have a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? GSL Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing school in Spilsby.About the Role:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs, both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons that are accessible and engaging for all learners.
- Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop emotional regulation strategies.
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment for every child.
- Have previous experience supporting young people with SEMH or additional behavioural needs (desirable but not essential).
- Be patient, understanding, and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
- Have strong behaviour management skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Hold a valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one via GSL Education.
