- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental procedures
- Lead and coach operational shift teams, ensuring accurate reporting and prompt action on equipment defects and alarms
- Manage site production costs, including consumables, utilities, reagents, and waste disposal
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement using KPIs and lean manufacturing principles
- Ensure effective execution and communication of production and logistics plans
- Act as a visible leader, motivating and engaging teams across all levels
- Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in the chemical or process industries
- NEBOSH Process Safety Certificate or other recognised Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' management experience within a chemical industry setting (ideally CoMAH regulated)
- At least 4 years of experience leading operational teams
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Proven track record in fostering a continuous improvement culture
