Base salary of up to: £29,355We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Duty Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Sports & Fitness Centre in the heart of Repton. Home to some larger scale sporting events and offering a wide range of facilities, this is a leisure job not to be missed.What you’ll be doingManaging and motivating a small team (lifeguards, reception, café and cleaning staff)Ensuring the centre operates safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on health & safety including pool testing and risk assessmentsDelivering excellent customer service and being the go-to person during your shiftWorking closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth experience for members, students and the communityWhat we’re looking for3+ years’ operational experience, including at least 2 years in managementStrong people and communication skills – approachable, calm under pressure and proactiveA hands-on leader who sets high standards and leads by examplePool Plant Operator and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications (or willingness to achieve)What we offer20 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme & free Sports Centre membershipA supportive, friendly team environmentYour recruiter for this role is Maddie Cummings, Recruitment Director at Love Recruitment group, and can be contacted simply by applying for the role below.
