We are seeking a talented and driven Chartered Architectural Technologist to join KK’s Bristol office.   • Collaborate with Architects, Design Teams, and Surveyors to develop excellent detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction documents.
  • Contribute to Planning application, Building Regulation submissions, and other project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors, consultants and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Apply your technical knowledge to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions for complex projects.
  • Keep ahead of industry trends, regulations and emerging technologies to enhance your work.
Individual Duties:
  • Produce accurate detailed design and technical drawings.
  • Work closely with in-house disciplines to translate design concepts into construction documents.
  • Coordinate project activities and liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
  • Use of Vectorworks and Revit is beneficial.
  • Produce Schedules of Works / Prelims – NBS Specifications.
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to project delivery.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Technology.
  • Ideally MCIAT
  • Vectorworks and Revit
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and detailing.
  • Technical ability covering RIBA stages 4 – 7.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Familiarity with JCT / NEC Contracts advantageous.
Knowledge of:
  • MS 365 and Teams.
  • Revit.
  • Vectorworks.
  • Excellent IT literacy.
