Thrive in a role where your expertise in child protection, family support, and complex case management is essential to supporting vulnerable children and families.Perks and Benefits:Flexible full-time or part-time working options to balance your career and personal life.Competitive hourly rate with excellent earning potential.Opportunities to network and collaborate with a wide range of agencies.Professional growth and development within a supportive team environment.What You Will Do:Conduct home and school visits to safeguard children according to statutory guidelines.Manage complex caseloads including Child Protection Plans, Children in Need, and Children in Care within care proceedings.Initiate Public Law Outline and Care Proceedings, preparing witness statements and care plans for court.Perform dynamic assessments such as parenting capacity, sibling, and kinship evaluations to inform court decisions.Lead Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47 of the Children Act 1989 and contribute to Child Protection Conferences.Convene and chair Core Group Meetings, implementing and reviewing Child in Need Plans.Collaborate with partner agencies to build strong family support networks.Prepare Court Reports for Private Law Proceedings (Section 7 and 37 Reports).Facilitate “Stability Meetings” and conduct direct work to prevent placement breakdowns and promote family wellbeing.
