- Experience in non-metallic material formulation /development/qualification and QA and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience of material characterisation and qualification testing.
- Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant industry standards and practices
- Working towards achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
- Demonstrable knowledge and practice of formulation of engineering polymers, including manufacturing processes and applications.
- Understanding of the design, manufacture and certification aspects of engineering polymers and/or non-metallic materials.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Project Management process, gained through experience and training.
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution preferred.
- Familiarity with IT software including database operation.
- Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work.
- Is keen to take accountability and ownership for delivering customer needs
- Can self-manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals.
- Is effective at solving problems, troubleshooting and making timely decisions
- Is flexible and eager to take initiatives.
- Communicates in a structured way and has the ability to present technical ideas in user-friendly language.
