The Kent and Medway Integrated Care System Prevention team are looking for a naturally inquisitive, experienced analytics professional to join their team.Hosted by the Public Health Intelligence Team in Medway Council and working closely with the Kent County Council Public Health Observatory and the NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board Intelligence Team, the postholder will work collaboratively across all organisations in the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System. The successful candidate will excel at working with multi-disciplinary colleagues to answer complex questions with evidence-based insights to drive forward our work on preventing ill health and promoting good physical and mental health and wellbeing.As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for leading projects within our team from start to finish. This will typically involve initial planning with a client, exploring the data, preparing it for analysis, conducting the analysis, drawing conclusions, communicating the findings and seeking feedback on how to improve next time. You will have a proactive attitude to problem solving and remain calm under pressure. Using your knowledge of epidemiology, statistics, and predominantly health-related datasets, you will ensure that projects are completed to a high standard and add value to the wider purpose.We provide a supportive learning environment to share knowledge between team members.
