  • opening up the kitchen for the day,
  • completing HAACP Documentation.
  • Making soups, quiches, daily specials of your choice, baking scrummy cakes, sandwich fillings, pies.
  • Preparing the salad bar for service.
  • Attending the inpatient unit speaking with each patient and discussing their likes, dislikes and dietary needs for that day.
  • Making meals for patients at lunch and tea time.
  • Running a full lunch service alongside another chef and a kitchen assistant, anywhere between 40 and 90 covers. Preparing afternoon teas, baking for these.
  • Planning ahead for the rest of the weeks demands
  • Everyone does a bit of everything, including washing up yes really!
