As a Black Success Manager, you'll play a vital role in empowering and supporting Black students across the university. You'll lead a portfolio of initiatives that enhance the student experience, including self-development courses, alumni mentoring ( ), and student networks like the , all under a unified programme.You'll be passionate about working with Black students and committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive community. You'll challenge the status quo, build equitable networks, and bring experience in report writing, event hosting, student engagement, marketing, and evaluation. Strong IT skills and a compassionate, confidential approach are essential.You'll hold Level 3 qualifications (e.g., Access to HE, BTEC, A-levels) or have equivalent experience. A key focus will be addressing the Black-white awarding gap, working closely with our Black student community and collaborating with teams across the university, including and the .You'll manage projects and change initiatives, using appropriate tools to plan and deliver effectively. Your work will be central to achieving our goals-tracking progress, implementing actions, and shaping future strategies to build a more inclusive culture.This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Black students and make a meaningful impact.
