- Act as the ‘client face’ of the Data Centre sector you will be representing our client at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Secure new projects and clients.
- Lead business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and fostering key industry relationships.
- Oversee the development of targeted marketing materials, bid documents, and capability statements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring alignment with their business needs and strategic goals.
- Lead key client meetings and presentations, positioning our client as the go-to lead for Data Centre Project Management.
- Ensure high client satisfaction scores, proactively addressing any issues and driving value-added service.
- Build, manage, and develop a high-performing Data Centre project management team.
- Ensure efficient staff deployment across projects and oversee team utilisation targets at various grades.
- Act as a mentor and leader, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Ensure sector projects meet profitability goals and contribute to the annual business plan targets, including income and margin objectives.
- Responsible for financial oversight, including WIP management, debt collection, and cash flow forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement in project efficiencies, ensuring that cost, programme, and quality targets are met.
- Oversee timely procurement, invoicing, and cash collection to ensure financial health and smooth project execution
- Ensure all Data Centre projects meet financial performance KPIs.
- Provide contractual and legal support, ensuring compliance with project agreements and procurement frameworks.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the successful integration of design, construction, and commissioning services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects, including those at scale.
- Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to integrate technical expertise into project leadership.
- Understanding of Data Centre procurement strategies and regional supply chains is an advantage.
- Balances strategic vision with practical delivery, ensuring excellence in client service, profitability, and operational performance.
- Qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional Chartered qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, ChPP, etc.) is desirable but not essential.
