- Coordinate all project phases—including planning, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final buy-off, while ensuring delivery within budget and against project timelines and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with customers, attending meetings and providing progress updates in line with APQP requirements.
- Manage both customer and internal APQP activities and participate in PPAP processes.
- Translate customer specifications into departmental actions or sub-supplier orders, managing resources and tracking progress throughout the project.
- Analyse and assess changes in customer or internal requirements, including feasibility studies and cost impacts.
- Identify potential project risks and implement corrective actions, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project, with a good understanding of CATIA.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, DFMEA/PFMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Hands-on experience with APQP processes in an automotive or engineering environment.
- Engineering qualification - degree or completed apprenticeship, ideally with industry experience or a placement year.
- Background in manufacturing, preferably within the automotive or advanced engineering sectors.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple project elements and stakeholders.
