Slitter Operator - Northamptonshire - £Depending On Experience

- Set up and operate slitting machinery to convert large rolls of material into narrower rolls to meet customer specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to ensure consistent output and minimal waste.
- Conduct regular quality checks, including inspection of slits, alignment, tension, and roll presentation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Work safely and adhere to all site health & safety protocols.
- Previous experience operating slitting machines in a manufacturing or packaging environment (essential).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to follow job specs and production schedules effectively.
- A reliable team player who can work independently when required.
