- Analyse and interpret simulation data from performance studies, routing models, and CFD outputs.
- Develop tools in Python for performance modelling, data processing, and visualisation.
- Automate visual outputs using libraries like Plotly, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Produce technical reports and tailored client presentations that clearly communicate complex data.
- Lead the development of aerodynamic and hydrodynamic performance models.
- Work closely with control systems, design, mechanical, and commercial teams to drive multidisciplinary projects.
- Maintain and improve a library of visual templates and workflows for reporting.
- Explore integration of AI and machine learning into simulation, routing, and optimisation tools.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in data science, simulation, and maritime sustainability.
- A strong academic background in Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience applying data analysis or simulation tools.
- Strong communication skills, both technical and client-facing.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and taking ownership of tasks.
- Confident using PowerPoint and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects within a multidisciplinary team.
- Object-oriented programming experience.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning for optimisation or forecasting.
- Background in aerodynamic or hydrodynamic performance engineering and/or CFD.
