We’re offering a competitive salary, great benefits and the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management of liquidity across the Legal & General Group.This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively across business units, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to the financial resilience of the organisation alongside and under the guidance of our Head of Liquidity.This is a hybrid working opportunity, which means you can split your working week flexibly between your home and our London office in Moorgate to help you achieve a work-life balance that works for you.What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting liquidity reporting and cash flow forecasting across the Group
  • Delivering management information to stakeholders and committees
  • Collecting, reviewing and challenging data provided by business units
  • Driving improvements to liquidity management actions and infrastructure
  • Assisting with strategic regulatory and liquidity optimisation projects
  • Streamlining and automating liquidity processes and models
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Group
  • Identifying opportunities and emerging risks across the Group to further shape our long-term liquidity strategy
QualificationsWho we’re looking for:
  • Previous liquidity experience or experience working in a closely related finance, risk or actuarial role
  • A working knowledge of liquidity, collateral and market risks
  • An understanding of treasury instruments such as money markets, FX and derivatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively manage a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review results and challenge where appropriate
  • Strong technical modelling skills
  • High attention to detail, including the ability to identify opportunities to further drive and optimise our liquidity capabilities
  • Programming proficiency (in R, Python etc.) would be highly beneficial, but is not essential
