What you will be doing...Here at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays we are seeking an experienced Head of Programme Management to lead our strategic change delivery function within the Central Transformation Office, driving initiatives that shape the future of our business. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Senior Programme Managers tasked with delivering high-impact, cross-functional transformation projects that support the organisation's long-term strategic imperatives.As our Head of Programme Management, you'll ensure that all transformation programmes are executed to the highest standards of delivery excellence, governance and stakeholder engagement. You'll play a critical role in enabling us to deliver our strategic ambitions that see the business stay ahead of our competition, adapting to changing market conditions within the industry.What you'll be doing:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Programme Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure consistent excellence in programme delivery.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of major transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, and benefit realisation targets, while applying robust governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks across all programmes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Transformation Office Director and senior stakeholders to prioritise the programme portfolio based on strategic value, capacity, and risk, ensuring all programmes directly contribute to business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Intervene in at-risk programmes to drive course correction and maintain delivery momentum, while providing clear, regular updates to executive leadership on programme performance, risks, and strategic implications.
What you'll have:
  • Strategic thinking and prioritisation to guide decision-making and programme direction.
  • Hands on experience running several large programmes whilst keeping delivery on track and stakeholders aligned.
  • Strong track record of setting up and maintaining programme governance and risk management frameworks that keep delivery on track and under control.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and resources to ensure programmes run smoothly and deliver successfully.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams with a focus on growth, collaboration and continuous improvement.
