- Shape Advice Policies - Lead the development and amendment of advice policies in response to business needs, legislative updates, and regulatory change.
- Provide Expert Technical Guidance - Provide subject matter expertise in financial advice and planning to ensure policy changes align with current best practice and compliance standards.
- Drive Improvements - Contribute to large-scale projects that review and reshape key areas of the advice framework, using in-depth knowledge of existing processes to recommend effective improvements.
- Stay Ahead of Change - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and business developments, using initiative to proactively identify and respond to change.
- Collaborate Across the Business - Engage and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders and external Partners to gather input, communicate changes, and support implementation.
- Communicate clearly and effectively - Present policy recommendations and complex advice-related changes to senior leadership with clarity and confidence, responding constructively to challenge and feedback.
- End-to-end impact - Ensure proposed policy changes are workable within operational processes and systems, considering end-to-end impacts on the advice journey.
- Keep documentation clear and compliant - Update client-facing documentation, such as suitability letters, to reflect policy changes-ensuring they remain compliant, accurate, and easy to understand.
- Balance Independence with Teamwork - Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment, balancing autonomy with teamwork to deliver high-quality outputs.
- CII Diploma qualified as a minimum
- Experience with all aspects of Advice processes and can deliver change that meets the expectations of the regulator, Partners and clients
- Strong experience with the principles and standards that underpin financial planning advice, the FCA COBS Suitability assessment and documentation requirements.
- Experienced with identifying and creatively solving complex problems, involving technical information and the design of our Suitability Letter report writing tool.
- Chartered qualification desirable
