Airmid Staffing is on the lookout for a Personal Assistant / Carer to support a friendly and independent gentleman with a brain injury living in the Horncastle area.This is a unique opportunity to join a small, established support team, providing tailored one-to-one care that genuinely changes lives – not just routines.About the Client:He’s an engaging man who loves being part of his local community, spending time with his family and friends, and getting out and about. He’s looking for someone mature, relaxed, with a sense of humour and a warm personality — someone who can enjoy the quiet moments but also have a good laugh.What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting him in his own home and on outings
- Accompanying him to social events, helping him stay active and connected
- Encouraging independence while being a steady and reassuring presence
- Helping plan enjoyable activities and days out tailored to his interests
- Providing thoughtful, person-centred care that puts his choices and voice first
- Driver required (You’ll be driving his manual vehicle – must be 25+ with a clean UK licence for insurance purposes; all costs covered)
- Experience with brain injury, learning disabilities, or mental health is helpful – but not essential
- Calm, patient, and respectful of quiet time as well as sociable moments
- Able to think on your feet and adapt to different moods and situations
- Confident communicator who’s happy to take guidance directly from the client
- Day shifts: 09:00 – 17:30
