- Manage day-to-day operations of the licensing team, overseeing recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
- Interpret complex legal requirements related to licensing and guide team members in appropriate actions.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems ensuring legal compliance.
- Engage with stakeholders, providing expert advice and promoting effective communication.
- Represent the organization at internal and external meetings, advocating for the Council's interests.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in licensing processes and procedures.
- Proven management skills and a strong ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with experience in handling complex licensing cases.
