- Write and edit compelling content including but not limited to: SEO-rich web copy case studies articles e-books emails social media posts video scripts digital ads and more. This content will drive traffic engagement and leads to contribute to customer acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional marketing team to create and iterate upon a content plan complete with strategic recommendations for assigned coverage areas. Contribute to the development maintenance and growth of the content plan.
- Consult with product and industry subject matter experts to surface messaging into compelling error-free content that supports revenue growth.
- Adhere to brand standards and comply with editorial governance to ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand voice style and tone.
- Leverage compelling storytelling techniques to create benefits-focused content that focuses on readers’ needs.
- Collaborate with operations teams on content performance metrics to ensure content is measured against business impact.
- Discover and apply burgeoning content marketing best practices.
- Provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team.
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in related field.
- Significant experience in content marketing / communications / writing
- Significant experience in making complex concepts easily understood and remembered
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining relationships both within a team and across departments
- Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within a team environment
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with follow through and attention to detail
- Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
- Demonstrated expertise with ability to write clear concise conversational and grammatically correct content
- Significant experience in writing digital content for websites landing pages social channels advertising video email
- Proven effectiveness in using content writing best practices
- Proven effectiveness in editing
- Proficient in Associated Press Stylebook "AP Style"
- Up to 5% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
