As a Sales Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to deliver excellent service and drive branch performance. You'll handle customer enquiries, manage accounts, and promote our full range of products both over the phone and face-to-face.What you'll be doing:
- Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter.
- Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes.
- Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling.
- Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
- Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Good IT and numeracy skills, with attention to detail in processing orders.
- Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
