- Lead the London Team: Act as the head of the newly formed London office, setting its tone, culture, and technical direction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, win work across sectors, and grow Sol Acoustics’ profile in the London and South East market.
- Project Delivery: Lead and deliver complex acoustic consultancy projects, ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and commercial success.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor across sectors such as residential, commercial, cultural, infrastructure and education.
- Recruitment & Mentoring: Build and nurture a high-performing team of acoustic consultants; provide mentorship and technical guidance.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the directors to shape long-term business strategy and expansion plans across the UK.
- Experienced Leader: Minimum 8 years in acoustic consultancy, with a strong track record of leading projects and mentoring teams.
- Business Developer: Demonstrated success in generating new business, winning work, and building lasting client relationships.
- Technical Authority: Deep expertise in building acoustics, environmental noise, and relevant regulations (e.g., BB93, BS8233, ProPG, WHO guidelines).
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in ODEON, CadnaA, SoundPLAN or similar acoustic modelling tools.
- Strategic Thinker: Able to balance technical delivery with commercial, managerial, and strategic responsibilities.
- Professionally Qualified: IOA membership (Chartered or working towards) preferred.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated, collaborative, and excited to shape a growing business unit.
- Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 (DOE) + annual profit share bonus
