Here, your voice is heard, and you'll have the support and opportunities to thrive.See your commuteJoin us as a Rulebook Assurance Lead at Barclays, where you will support Barclays by conducting assurance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant rules.To be successful in the role of a Rulebook Assurance Lead, you should have the following:Experience in a quality assurance, control testing, audit or similar functions.Regulation knowledge and understanding such as CASS.Ability to analyse complex processes and apply the regulation effectively.Proven stakeholder management skills, working across different levels of seniority in the organisation.Attention to detail.Data analytics experience.Some other highly valued skills include:Ability to prioritise workloads, stay organised and meet deadlines.Strong Communication skills.Control and risk experience.You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role will be based in Glasgow.Purpose of the roleSupport Barclays by conducting assurance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory rules.AccountabilitiesTest day-to-day services to ensure the bank meets its regulatory obligations.Monitoring operational processes related to relevant regulation and guidelines.Collaboration with internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies and/or other issues related to regulatory rules.Development and implementation of new process, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance effectiveness of regulatory operations.Support the execution of audits and regulatory inspections related to regulated operations through the provision of key information including documents and reports.Participation in projects and initiatives to improve regulatory operational efficiency and effectiveness.Assistant Vice President ExpectationsTo advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
