Salary: (dependent on experience)We are seeking an inspiring and creative Drama Teacher to join our school in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will spark students’ enthusiasm for drama, supporting them to express themselves, build confidence, and discover the art of performance. This role involves delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Drama lessons that promote collaboration, creativity, and self-expression across all key stages.About the Role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons across all key stages, in line with the relevant curriculum.
  • Encourage students to explore drama and performance, nurturing their creativity, confidence, and communication abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, offering personalised support to help each student reach their full potential.
  • Support the wider school community by assisting with drama productions, showcases, and extracurricular clubs.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student participation and skill development.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specialising in Drama.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Drama, preferably in a secondary school environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant curricula and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering creativity, self-confidence, and teamwork within the school community.
