- Lead a committed and motivated team delivering efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective services that empower clients to live independently.
- Supervise a team of client-facing colleagues to provide person-centred services within a defined area.
- Manage and monitor team performance, setting objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Coach team members to deliver outstanding client services and continuously improve service quality.
- Allocate resources based on client needs and contract requirements to ensure superior service delivery.
- Conduct health and safety checks, risk assessments, and maintain records to safeguard all colleagues and clients.
- Serve as a leadership role model, promoting a motivated and committed team culture.
- Be the Designated Person for Safeguarding and ensure all team members receive necessary information and training in this area.
- Work with Enterprise and Development colleagues to address safeguarding concerns and support safeguarding efforts for adults, children, and young people.Requirements:
- Experience in delivering support in a housing or care environment.
- Proven people management skills within a similar setting.
- Ownership of joint issues with a focus on resolution.
- Ability to think holistically, considering the wider impact of decisions.
- Passion for unlocking the potential of others and supporting colleagues to excel.
- Skilled in active listening and providing constructive feedback.
- Advocacy for clients and a deep understanding of their needs.
