The role sits within the Commercial team, developing and managing relationships with a portfolio of Retail accounts within chilled FMCG. The categories include a range of fresh fruit/vegetable, with the focus for the role being to develop, enhance and promote the brand and products within the marketplace using strong commercial acumen.The successful Commercial Account Manager (Chilled/Retail) will:
  • Manage and grow existing Retail (Chilled) accounts including independents.
  • Identify a customer's daily, weekly, and seasonal requirements for each commodity, value negotiation to develop a sustainable long-term account plan.
  • Day to day Buyer contact for delivering sales, developing strong relationships, as well as good networking skills across the account and industry.
  • Track delivery against budgeted sales and margin targets
  • Identify, examine and investigate new business opportunities by reviewinng market trends and analysis using consumer insights data.
  • Full P&L responsibility against service level targets.
  • Proactively contribute to the successful development of the department strategy and wider business.
  • Requirement to work 1/2 day weekend cover (0.5 days - Saturday / Sunday (can be home working, post-probation - due to supply/demand and fast-paced nature of the role) 1 in every 3 weeks.

The company's headquarters is based within West London.The role is fully office-based, in West London.Wokrking hours are 08:00 - 17:00 / 08:30 - 17:30pmPLUS an addition 0.5 day every 3 weeks, to support at HQ / supply/demand of Fresh Produce orders/management of administrative tasks in line with supply and demandOn offer for the successful Commercial Account Manager (Chilled/Retail):
