Competitive Salary + PackageA leading Tier One contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly regarded business delivering major commercial projects across London and the South East.With offices based in both London and Essex, the company offers hybrid working, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical works on projects typically valued between £1m and £50m. They will play a crucial role in the tendering process, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality bids.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate electrical cost estimatesAnalyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documentsLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricingParticipate in value engineering and risk reviewsSupport the handover process from pre-construction to delivery teamsCandidate RequirementsA minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical estimating within the commercial sectorExperience working with Tier One contractors or established M&E contractorsStrong technical understanding of electrical systems in commercial environmentsFamiliarity with estimating software (e.g., Trimble, ConQuest, or similar)Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skillsThe Offer
