- Hold a current and full driving licence and have access to a car
- Experienced Health Care Assistant
- Experience in wound care
- Qualified in Phlebotomy
- Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Qualified to NVQ level 3
- Recognised training in wound care
- Be subject to an enhanced DBS check, the outcome of which must be satisfactory to the practice.
- Be well motivated
- Can work well as a member of team
- Feels comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Take a consultative approach to their work, appropriately involving relevant people
- Ability to work under pressure
- A willingness to learn new skills and be open to suggestions
- Fitness to carry out duties manual handling and dexterity requirements
- Able to travel between sites using own transport.
- Ability to deal with exposure to distressing circumstances or highly emotional events.
- Ability to cope with occasional aggressive behaviour.
- High level of self-awareness.
- Fit with culture of practice team.
