We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our prestigious clients team supporting the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) estate in Salisbury. This is a dynamic and rewarding role in a highly specialised, fast-paced setting.Health & Safety Advisor Role ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring maintenance and project activities across the estate are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation and best practice.Key responsibilities include:
Conducting site inspections and audits.
Supporting accident and incident investigations.
Delivering SHE inductions and toolbox talks.
Advising on health, safety, fire, and environmental standards.
Helping translate policy into practical, safe systems of work.
Promoting a Zero Harm culture and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the site, acting as a trusted advisor and building strong working relationships to support a safety-first approach at all levels.What You'll Need
A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Experience applying HSE principles in operational or facilities environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Confidence in challenging non-compliance and influencing positive behaviours.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence.
Due to the nature of this site (Dstl Salisbury) you must be of British Nationality and able to obtain SC Clearance.What's on Offer?
