Degree Level: Not applicableJob Description:Spire Dunedin Hospital | Reading | Housekeeper - Part Time 22.5 hrs pwSpire Dunedin Hospital in Reading has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team.In this essential role, you will help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our state-of-the-art hospital facilities. You'll play a key part in supporting infection prevention measures and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and colleagues.Duties and responsibilities:
  • Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, in accordance with housekeeping and infection control policies
  • Complete all cleaning schedules relevant to your shift, ensuring patient rooms are ready for immediate use and public areas are clean and presentable
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Housekeeper, reporting any concerns or issues related to housekeeping promptly
  • Work closely with clinical teams, understanding and responding to the specific needs of the hospital on a daily basis
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and COSHH requirements, including adherence to Spire policies
  • Uphold quality assurance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all time
Who we are looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role within the healthcare sector is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A positive, flexible approach to delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with patients, colleagues, and visitors
  • Good awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH regulations
