The VacancyWe are looking to recruit a Yard Person to join the team at our office in Glasgow. This role is permanent part time 3 days per week (9am - 4pm). We are flexible on the days worked Monday-Friday.A full UK driving licence is required.Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general office maintenance and DIY. Make sure stores and yard area for 3 premises are kept clean and tidy
  • Maintain good communication with colleagues and clients, keep up to date with emails and respond promptly
  • To be aware of their responsibilities for Health and Safety of themselves and others
  • Keyholder - point of contact in the event of alarm activation or office security issue
Person Specification:
  • Full UK driving license is required
  • Forklift license is preferred although training will be provided
  • Good knowledge and practical skills for general maintenance and DIY
  • Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Skills or qualifications in a suitable trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical) would be advantageous but not essential
Salary and Benefits:
  • £15,015, based on 21 hours per week over 3 days (£28,600 FTE)
