32.5 hours per weekThe Governing Body of Pil Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective Senior Administrative Officer to work in our busy office.The primary responsibility of the job is that of main Receptionist, but a range of clerical duties is also attached to the post. The successful candidate will undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties which will include, minute taking, various typing of confidential reports, managing lunchtime supervisors, administrative, financial and organisational processes.Candidates must:Have strong inter-personnel skillsMust be numerate and well organisedHave excellent typing and communication skills and be able to work well within a team and have a flexible approach to workingMust be able to manage complex manual and computerised financial systems and returnsMust be able to analyse and evaluate data and produce reports and documentsHave an in-depth working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and Outlook), of the SIMS package, iTrent and COA financial software is desirableHave the ability to work within tight timescales and to solve problems that may ariseOversee the completion of returns and statutory informationliaise with the Education Welfare Officers and others to monitor pupil attendancebe responsible for high value stocks and sums of cashProtecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.Closing Date: 19 September 2025Shortlisting Date: 26 September 2025Interview Date:
