Job Description:Robert Half are recruiting for a Contract Mobile Application Developer for a short-term engagement focused on code review, documentation, and recommendations for performance and efficiency improvements. The application is live on both Android and iOS, and the codebase is built using Xamarin (C#) with separate platform projects and a shared core.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a thorough code review of the existing Xamarin solution
Produce clear and structured technical documentation
Identify opportunities for performance optimisation, codebase efficiency, and modernisation
Provide actionable recommendations for future development and maintenance

Key Technical Requirements:

Strong experience with Xamarin.Forms or Xamarin Native (Android/iOS)
Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio
Familiarity with mobile architecture, dependency injection, and cross-platform patterns
Understanding of app store deployment and build configurations

Key Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Clear and concise technical communication
Ability to work independently and provide structured, high-value feedback in the form of a report or presentation
