– Manage a varying caseload of 50 to 65 clients providing specialised support for adults dealing with substance misuse issues including opiates, non-opiates, and alcohol
– Develop and implement comprehensive recovery plans tailored to individual client needs
– Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops to promote awareness and prevention
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and continuous care
– Support clients in accessing community resources and services to aid in their recovery journey
– Maintain accurate records of client progress and report regularly to supervisors and stakeholdersRequirements for the role of Substance Misuse Worker:
– Recent experience in Substance Misuse Substance Abuse Addiction Drug and Alcohol Needle Exchange or Recovery
– Relevant qualifications or certifications in a related field
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
