As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will work together with the Senior Finance Manager for Procurement and Procurement Finance Business Partner along with peers across Supply Chain Finance. This will include supporting the control, accounting and governance of Primes cost accounting for GB & Ireland, including month end close process and reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also provide support on standard costing process (both annual and BAU) and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of transfer pricing for other Business Units.In this role you will work across our finance and supply chain teams to join together the understanding of performance with the way in which we utilise our systems, helping to shape processes that pinpoint the right actions to the right teams.Key Responsibilities: * Support & Develop effective and efficient financial controls, which are documented and clearly understood by the business owners these are; Standard Costing, Transfer Pricing, Supply Chain Process Accounting (Make to Deliver), Month End Close Process, Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Support the forecasting and budgeting process ensuring a robust, deliverable plan with clear risks & opportunities identified
  • Support the calculation of standard costs for Primes and co-packed items for the following fiscal year, NPDs and new PIB / BUFC combinations, feeding Financial Control & Reporting with required details for subsequent calculation of transfer prices
  • Support the shaping / facilitating of the budget process for Supply Chain Finance including the translation of budget through to standards
  • Lead the formulation of initiatives and improvements, representing Supply Chain Finance, to simplify or enrich the quality of the information we use to improve supply chain performance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: * IT literacy including; Prior experience of working with SAP & Proficient in Microsoft office (e.g. excel & powerpoint).
  • A self-starting individual with the ability to take the initiative and work with a low level of supervision
  • The ability to summarise and present information verbally (at team meetings) and in writing.
  • Previous experience in a role involving cost control, financial reporting and analysis, ideally from a Supply Chain and Manufacturing background
Qualifications: * Degree or equivalent
  • Part Qualified CIMA preferable
  • Previous experience on SAP (essential) and/or JDE (preferred)
