This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity to teach French and/or Spanish to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.The school values high-quality language provision and aims to develop confident, culturally aware learners who can communicate effectively in another language. You will be joining a committed MFL department that fosters both academic excellence and a genuine appreciation for global communication.Role Responsibilities:Teach French, Spanish, or both, depending on your specialism, across KS3 and KS4Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons aligned with national curriculum and GCSE requirementsSupport pupils’ spoken and written fluency, while building a strong understanding of grammar and vocabularyEncourage cultural understanding and language immersion through creative and interactive teaching approachesTrack student progress and adapt teaching to ensure inclusive and differentiated learningContribute to departmental planning and enrichment, including potential language trips, clubs, or cultural eventsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
✔ Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a UK secondary school
✔ Strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum and current assessment frameworks
✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
