- PSPI Reporting - supporting Maintenance Manager
- Safety case specialist regarding projects and changes to site.
- Design Authority for modifications to existing plant and engineering works.
- Examination, testing and operation of the plant and the treatment, processing, keeping, storing, accumulating or carriage of any radioactive material or radioactive waste.
- Responsible to the Site Manager for efficiently scheduling the processing of wastes by the operations team to the required standard for disposal.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks.
- Set and track staff training, ensuring that all staff maintain SQEP.
- Mentor and coach as needed.
- Recruit and Onboard new team members.
- Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence.
- Support the Site Manager to deliver Capital & Operational projects.
- Support the Maintenance Manager to deliver effective upkeep and modification of plant through engineering control and technical support.

- Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations.

- 5 yrs experience working within the nuclear industry and delivering operational/engineering duties.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of plant and material handling equipment.
- Eng Chartership and/or CMI/ILM registration would be an advantage.
- Willingness to work towards CITB H&S pass, Project Management (PMP/ Prince) and IOSH Managing Safely.
