As a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting a team of expert property lawyers and fee earners on all aspects of the conveyancing process.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold, leasehold, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
- Handle post-exchange and post-completion matters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
- Provide administrative support to senior fee earners and solicitors in the property department
- Communicate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing
- Previous experience working in a conveyancing or residential property legal team
- Minimum of 12 months in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant role within a property department
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, client-focused mindset
