This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of day-to-day financial processes and reporting. You'll take ownership of monthly deliverables, help ensure compliance with internal financial policies, and support strategic financial decision-making across departments.This position would suit a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and previous experience in a manufacturing finance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee invoice processing and supplier payments, including managing multi-currency payment runsPrepare and review aged debtor and creditor balances, taking proactive action when requiredHandle bank, stock, and intercompany reconciliationsSupport royalty reporting and contribute to cash flow forecasts and currency managementProcess monthly payroll and generate associated reportsProduce monthly management accounts: profit & loss, balance sheet, and group consolidationCollaborate with operational teams to monitor expenditure and budget performanceSupport the budgeting process and carry out ad hoc financial analysisAct as a key user and department liaison for the ERP system, assisting with testing and system improvementsSkills & Experience RequiredStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsConfident with numbers, problem-solving, and data analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial toolsClear and professional communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in a finance role within a manufacturing or product-based environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) is highly desirablePart-qualified Accounting Technician (e.g., AAT) or actively studying toward a qualification (e.g., CIMA), or qualified by experienceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary + annual bonusFull study support for professional qualificationsFlexible working policy, including hybrid home working and early finish Fridays25 days holiday + bank holidaysSalary sacrifice pension scheme (up to 5% matched) + Employer NI savingsHealthcare cash plan, virtual GP, EAP, and life insurance (4x salary)Cycle to work scheme and ongoing training & developmentContact: Kas Morgan
