SummaryA fantastic opportunity for talented Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join a specialist multi-disciplinary Civil, Structural, Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental engineering consultancy in Scarborough has arrisen.You will be joining a growing, market leading business which prides itself on developing individuals to achieve their full potential and offers exceptional personal development and career progression opportunities.The RoleAs an experienced Senior Engineer within the civil and structural team, your primary focus will be to undertake civil / structural engineering design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.The ideal candidate will be able to use their skills and knowledge to add value to a wide range of construction projects across the complete construction spectrum. Current projects include Schools, Colleges & Universities, Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Petrochemical, Food and Energy.To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • You should be proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and engaging team player
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a master's degree would be an advantage)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil & structural engineering, with a focus on designing and delivering complex projects
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software for structural analysis and design
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and team members
  • Full UK driving licence.
