Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing and production industry, is on the lookout for an experienced Machine Operative to join their team in Winsford.This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and will also offer progression within the company for the right candidate.If you have a passion for working with machinery and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Position: Machine Operative Location: Winsford
Contract Type: Temp to perm Rate of pay: £13.50ph (plus a £££ monthly bonus once perm for full attendance)Working hours: 6am - 2:45pm Monday - Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday (40 hours standard week)As a Machine Operative, your role will be vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Here's what you can expect:
  • Loading materials: Prepare the machine by loading it with materials, setting the stage for production.
  • Programming the Machine: Use your technical skills to programme the machine according to specific job requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Running the Programme: Oversee the entire process as you run the programmed operations, monitoring the machine's performance for any adjustments needed.
  • Palletising Cut Materials: Once the cutting is complete, you will be responsible for palletising the cut material, readying it for delivery and storage.
  • Maintaining the Machine: Keep the machinery in top condition through regular maintenance and troubleshooting, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a machine operative role is a must!
  • Strong attention to detail, numerate and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
