About the roleWe are looking for a Finance Intern/graduate to join the team here at Essity on a 12 month fixed term contract until September 2025. Expected start date May-June 2024The role will report into the Mill Controller Manager and will give an insight into financial operations. Essity is a global leading health and hygiene company. We offer products and services that make a difference every day in people’s lives. We operate in the following main business areas: Health & Medial, Consumer Goods and Professional Hygiene.The Manufacturing Site at Prudhoe Mill Northumberland is Essity’s largest operation producing a range of Branded and Private label toilet tissue products including leading brands Cushelle and Velvet.What you will doThe role is based within a small finance team at the manufacturing site and will allow you to grow and develop your skills and knowledge with activities including:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Deviation analysis
  • Product Costing
  • Project Capital Investment – From invest to divest
  • Business partnering
  • Cost reviews
  • Scorecard Non Financial KPI reporting – energy/machine efficiency/etc
  • Internal control
