Your mission is to shape the Product Compliance and Risk Program, for Wise to expand its Account proposition with many more features and in many more Countries.This is a first line of defence hands-on role, embedded in the Global Product Account Squad.You will be owning projects and making decisions in the following areas:New products:Build compliance strategies to allow for a seamless global roll-out, including minimising time for regional reviews and identifying when local regulatory requirements can be executed by leveraging existing global controls and when unique requirements need prioritisation, optimising for utilisation of existing controls where possibleSupport Product Managers in the new products and features life cycle, for them to understand the regulatory and risk requirements quickly, optimising the time at which compliance clarity is obtained, including taking initiative in reviewing different local regulatory requirementsTranslate and implement regulatory requirements, for Product and Engineering teams to seamlessly execute onRisk and controls:During exams and audits, lead Wise response in regard to Account by challenging any assumption that is not a correct reflection of the Wise's Risk and Controls framework, and coordinate evidencing controls as necessaryDefine the Regulatory and Financial Crime Risk metrics for Global Account product and features, that regional entities can consume and localiseCoordinate prioritisation and efforts on issues, ensuring any necessary remediation is executed in a timely mannerReporting and external engagement:Monitor and report on the health of the Global Account program in front of internal and external stakeholders (Global Committees, Regulators, Internal and External Audit, Banking Partners)Lead the Global Account discussions and forums with clear action plans and updates on previously identified issuesTake part in industry associations initiatives where markets relevant to Wise are discussed, and actively represent Wise in engaging with legislative and regulatory consultations when relevant to the Account ProductThis role will give you the opportunity to:Grow your hands-on Fintech knowledge at full speedKeep Compliance right at the heart of the product and engineering development cycle, in a fast-moving environmentBe empowered to identify regulatory and compliance issues or opportunities and take a lead in executionAdditional InformationFor everyone, everywhere.
