- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on hydro generation equipment, with occasional support on mechanical and civil tasks where required.
- Respond to faults, performing fault-finding diagnostics, and carrying out repairs to restore operational performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring to ensure our plant and equipment remains safe, compliant, and in peak working order.
- Report operational defects and support risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental inspections.
- Train to operate and isolate fixed generation plant safely, including flood control systems, ensuring you're fully prepared to respond when needed.
- Proven experience in a similar electrical craft or maintenance role, ideally within a power generation or industrial setting.
- A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or completion of a relevant electrical craft apprenticeship.
- A good level of computer literacy, with the ability to learn and use our maintenance management systems (training provided).
- A flexible and proactive approach to work - you'll be expected to work outdoors in all weather conditions and support out-of-hours work when required.
- A full UK driving licence and the willingness to live within, or relocate to, 40 miles of Killin Workshop.
