BCHA are a diverse and growing specialist housing, learning and support provider. We are currently recruiting for an Operational Manager to join our team on the Liberty project.BCHA work closely with the Salvation Army to provide support to survivors of ‘modern slavery and trafficking’. We provide a ‘responsive service’ to support individuals who require sustained care to enable long term healing, to reintegrate into society and rebuild their lives.We have a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to spearhead the fight against modern slavery and human trafficking in the South West of the UK.At BCHA, our dedicated Liberty Project provides vital support to survivors of modern slavery through safehouse accommodation and outreach across three counties. We are now seeking an Operational Manager to lead this essential work.In this pivotal role, you will:
  • Lead and inspire a team of specialist support workers.
  • Ensure the survivor’s voice is always at the heart of our work.
  • Oversee the delivery of safe, trauma-informed, and empowering support for those referred through the Home Office’s National Referral Mechanism.
The post holder can be based in Dorset, Wiltshire, or Devon, and will be required to travel regularly across all three counties to support and connect with the team.This is an exciting time to join the anti-slavery movement, 2025 marks ten years since the Modern Slavery Act 2015 came into force.
