
Payroll Specialist

- Ensuring employee wages are paid in accordance with all applicable country, local regulations, and employment contract agreements.
- Ensuring employee payments and deductions are properly calculated and accurate for processing
- Responsible for assigned payroll process and data accuracy, including uploading data on time
- Auditing all preview payroll reports for anomalies; identifies and addresses issues within the data set.
- Preparing year end payroll and benefits data
- Tracking queries with external payroll provider
- Providing Excel analytics and reporting, ad-hoc and scheduled.
- Following and complying with all internal and external audit narratives.
- Delivering excellent customer service by providing accurate and meaningful answers to employee payroll, and tax inquiries.
- Collaborating with other shared service divisions.
- Adhering to learning guides/Standard Operations Procedures (“SOP”) and best practice content.
- Maintaining payroll record retention for all edits and adjustments.
- Possess previous extensive payroll experience
- Preferred experience in EMEA payroll
- Large platform payroll applications experience – ideally UKG Pro, activpayroll
- Proficient in Excel, Word and other MS office applications
- Have an analytical mindset with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility.
- Have strong organisational skills & the ability to meet strict deadlines.
