This is a full-time, temporary position (12 weeks), offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a childs education and development.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (12 weeks)
Location: Guildford
Key Stages: KS1 – KS2 (Primary) and Secondary
Start Date: 5th September 2025
Role Overview:
You will provide essential one-to-one support to a child with special educational needs, working closely with teaching staff to help deliver tailored learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEN teaching or tutoring and be passionate about supporting childrens learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver personalised support to a child with special needs
· Assist with classroom activities across primary and secondary key stages
· Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt resources and teaching methods
· Monitor and support the childs progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
· Proven experience in SEN teaching or tutoring
· Ability to work effectively within a school environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting childrens development

· Proven experience working with children and young people
· DBS on the update service
· Right to work in the UK
· Childcare Disqualification check
